Producer Profile

Taking a thoroughly contemporary approach, Bella Modella creates a fine yet affordable
style of modern still wines and Prosecco. The range includes the Modella Prosecco with its stylish design and deliciously frothy, fruit filled character it is the perfect model of Prosecco.

Viticulture

The geographical area includes the part to the north of the province of Chieti that the foot of the Maiella massif. The soils are predominantly clay. The average annual rainfall in the area is between 700 mm and 900 mm per year. A hot climate, with significant temperature ranges between day and night. Frequent ventilation helps create
optimal conditions for the health of the grapes.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested manually followed by a soft pressing and fermentation
maceration with selected yeasts at controlled temperature below 20°C in steel tanks. Cold stabilisation and bottling through isobaric filler.

Tasting Note

A beautifully, light, vibrant white to be appreciated for its zesty, citrus and green apple
character and refreshing quality.

Food Matching

Excellent as an aperitif, with starters, risottos, and fish-based first courses. Suitable with
fresh cheeses, vegetables, and white meats.
